The Holeman & Finch Public House burger

Scary thing is that those fries more than hold their own against that burger. Those fries are no Warren Beatty to that Madonna Burger.

Those burgers are worth the wait. Not serving them until 10pm forces me to eat, drink and talk to people until then....but that's ok too. You meet the most interesting people at Holeman & Finch.
by interesting people you must mean retirees who seem to have stumbled in? But anyway, holeman & finch is great - good food, nice atmosphere...just not sure they're reaching the crowd they intended.
Not sure when you are at H & F, but the crowd is young and vibrant.
i agree - i was there at 10 last night, and the crowd was 25-35, all bellied up to either devour the burgers in 3 bites, or they were huddled around throwing down cocktail after cocktail.

We have loved eating at the bar at Eugene's for years, and now there is H&F! Cocktails are beautifully crafted as expected; the sweetbreads are awesome. We tried several items, and we can't wait to try out the rest of the menu. H&F bread is due to open July 9.
I've had this burger two times since I saw your review. It is the best I've ever had. I've been proud to talk it up to my friends too. However, yesterday someone threw in my face that they had found a better burger at Watershed. I was pretty dismissive, but it's been on my mind now: could there be another better the H&F? So, BG, I'm seeking guidance. Hopefully, you can save me a trip and tell me you have this burger at Watershed and that it is not as good. It's out of the way for me, but I may have to go see for myself, unless I can get a second opinion on this. Thanks.
